Back
Penn State's Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. Each year thousands of students and volunteers work together to raise money to fight pediatric cancer (they raised over $7,000,000 last year alone...I danced in 1997). Tonight when I got home and emptied my pockets, the loose change and limited cash made me think of the days events.
Today THON got a boost in promotion when Khloe Kardashian posted a link on her blog about the event and encouraged others to contribute. Each year THON is our charity of choice and every bit counts.
